Movies and series I watched during April 2018
Note: As Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1 all episodes are different and unrelated to others (like Black Mirror), I will rate them separately at the end of the post.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1 Overall (7/10)
Full of Oscar winning actors and actress series. Quite good and independent episodes, with a dark Sci-fi common theme. Some of the episodes have hyper-complex worlds, full of possibilities and stories, and you embrace them thought the main characters.
Ready Player One (7/10)
Enjoyable movie if you are a video games and cult movies fan.
Molly’s game (7/10)
Interesting story. Introduces some background and deeper character development. Don’t expect some Ocean’s Eleven or poker themed movie, that’s the excuse.
Lost in Space S1 (7/10)
I just love spaceship movies. Goes from top to bottom, then stays in the middle. Dr. Smith scenes are quite tedious. I get the point of having her in the series, but it takes ages to develop her plans.
The mountain between us (6/10)
The Long Dark game becomes a 2 player movie. Quite predictable.
Friday night dinner S1 (6/10)
Short episodes, easy and offensive comedy.
Den of thieves (5/10)
Heat with worse actors, and a quite foreseeable end.
The Commuter (3/10)
Action movie with all the cliches. I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E7 — Kill All Others (9/10)
Fantastic close enough to reality dystopia.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E1 — The Hood Maker (8/10)
Amazing adaptation of the PKD short story. It blast you inside the world and the main characters without any description or introduction. Main characters are not heroes, just pieces (more like peons) inside a higher and deeper story.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E6 — Human is (8/10)
Another very well made story. I’m sure in the book ended differently but overall enjoyable.

A nice story about a young girl entering a country who is over-obsessed with terrorism and surveillance.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E5 — Real life (7/10)
Total recall meets Inception. Good drama about reality vs virtual reality
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E4 — Crazy Diamond (6/10)
Drama about the fear of chasing our dreams, and what are you willing to sacrifice for it.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E3 — The commuter (6/10)
Sad drama about escaping reality.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E2 — Impossible planet (5/10)
Well made, but easy story, and boring ending.
Philip K. Dick Electric Dreams S1E10 — The father thing(4/10)
Not a very interesting story.
