Shazam 2019 (8/10)
Surprisingly good and entertaining for a DC movie. Up a level on the superheroes franchise and no forced jokes.
Glass (8/10)
Good end of the trilogy. McAvoy sublime. Didn’t expect the ending, but it makes it a better movie.
Star Trek Discovery S2 (7/10)
Good enough ending. Tries to tie together with the Enterprise timeline. Maybe too many secondary characters, makes it hard to get attached to them.
Avengers: End Game (7/10)
Nice way to say goodbye to the old generation and give space to the young and fresh ones. Still think they could’ve get some more movies from the old guard, but it’s a nice closure. A bit too fast paced and some missing dialogues. I find more interesting Infinity War.
Homeland S7 (7/10)
Better than the previous season. Quite updated to nowadays Intelligence.
Turn up Charlie S1 (6/10)
Good songs. Alright drama. Good acting and vibe. Thanks to this I discovered Idris is a DJ in real life.
The Umbrella Academy S1 (6/10)
For the trailer I thought it would be a comedy full of jokes and easy story about superheroes. It’s a harsh drama about an abusive childhood.
The mule (5/10)
Lately all Eastwood movies are too similar. This one is OK, nothing new.
Santa Clarita Diet S3 (5/10)
Not as good as the first one, still some good dialogues.
Russian doll S1 (5/10)
Would be impossible for the main character to have any friends. Boring story until the last episode. That saves the series from a full disaster.
King of thieves (4/10)
I think this is a remake or a tribute of an older movie with the same main characters. It has some flashbacks to the original movie with no explanation to the viewer. Main actors too old to make it work.
