Movies and series I watched during August 2018
Deadpool 2 (9/10)
Better than the first one. Have to watch it a second time to get all the jokes and hidden eggs.
Thoroughbreds (7/10)
Good long sequences. Great performance of the two main actresses. Could’ve been a better plot.
Luke Cage S1 (6/10)
Starts with better acting, pace, plot, soundtrack and cast than the rest of the Marvel series (Punisher excluded). Then it goes down.
Daredevil S2 (6/10)
Good recovery from S1 thanks to Frank Castle’s plot (The Punisher). When he is on the scene, the quality of the whole series rises. Shame that Electra plot brings the series down, otherwise would’ve been a fantastic second season.
Daredevil S1 (5/10)
Had to stop watching when got release, thought it was too cheap to watch. Finish the season, not as bad as expected.
Jessica Jones S1 (4/10)
Quite simple. Dragging the boring main plot through all the season.
The Defenders (3/10)
Even with all the Sigourney style as a villain can’t make this work. All the bad things of the series gathered in one.
Disenchantment S1 (3/10)
Disappointment. It’s a shame. The world the characters live in got so much potential (same level as Futurama) but it’s wasted with a boring main characters with no appeal at all. All the few good moments come from secondary characters.
