Alcarras — The Movies that made us — Hustle

Alcarràs (9/10)
Nice, beautiful and spot-on portrait of a family of farmers from the Catalan region of Lleida. A story about how the family is gonna lose the land they’ve worked all their lives, and how their members react to the news. For me, it’s the first time I seen a close representation of some bits of my life on the big screen. No soundtrack, just the sound of my childhood: crickets, bugs, wind, and the yelling and discussion of family members.

The movies that made us: Robocop (7/10)
The movies that made us: Aliens (7/10)
The movies that made us: Back to the Future (7/10)
The movies that made us: Home Alone (7/10)
The movies that made us: Die Hard (7/10)
Some handpicked episodes from The movies that made us series. They describe how those movies were made in an interesting approach. It shows the problems they ran into, discussions, arguments. At some points it feels forced, but still a good series overall.

Hustle (6/10)
Sandler is always good. Simple story about a NBA headhunter chasing new talent. Easy to watch, quick to forget. Full of cameos from the basketball world.

The Tourist S01 (6/10)
Story of an amnesia man who wakes up after an accident an he is chased by everyone. Starts well, makes you lose your interest.

Barry S03 (5/10)
Not as good as the other seasons. The humor-drama is now at 20–80.

Jurassic World: Dominion (5/10)
The end of this saga. You get what you imagine; dinosaur chases, nonsense and easy scares. Good to see the original cast together. Some funny bits, as always.

Fantastic beast: secrets of Dumbledore (3/10)
Previous ones they were interesting. Kind of easy to watch and made sense. This one.. it’s just a bad edited nonsense.

Hannah S03 (3/10)
I think the last of the series. Totally unnecessary season. It moves far from the original movie and initial plot, and not in a good way or for a good reason.

Raised by Wolves S02 (2/10)
A series that could’ve been good, goes down a spiral and tries to intertwined sci-fiction, religion and magic.
